Nigel Slater really loves his food and you can get a real sense of the passion and interest here. The book has lots of lovely ideas for dishes many classics and lots that are a little different.
The book is neatly divided into sections and the photography is excellent. You could almost eat from the page. Grilled Chicken with Thyme leaves and Garlic butter has to be one of my favourite recipes in the collection.
This isn’t really a book for vegetarians but if you are a committed omnivore then you’ll find plenty to please you here.
